The hotel's decoration and general areas were simply stunning. The old palace of the Rajas of Travancore exuded a royal splendor that took my breath away. The intricate woodwork and artistic details were truly a feast for the eyes. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was commendable. There were ramps and elevators throughout the property, making it easy for me to navigate and explore without any hassle.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more attentive staff. While the children working there were polite, I felt they could have been a bit more helpful and proactive in assisting senior guests like myself.

The suite's private bathroom is amazing! It has a spacious twin Jacuzzi, a refreshing shower, and even a TV for entertainment. It made me feel like a king!

Personally, I found the TV in the bathroom a bit unnecessary, but others might enjoy it.

My weekend stay was fantastic! The hotel is situated in a peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to reach within 20 kilometers. It was great to be able to jog along the walking track that was available at the back of the hotel, which was a nice escape that wasn't used by many. The customer service at the hotel was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was cooked well and had a lot of options. The best part was the lovely view of the lake from my room that added to a peaceful stay.

Although I loved my stay as a whole, the hotel could make some minor improvements. Soundproof rooms could be a great addition to avoid hearing sounds from other rooms.

the exclusive amenities, including the outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and the BBQ facilities, were all top-notch. the restaurant served delicious meals with special diet menus, while the sun terrace and garden area offered a great place to relax.

this was quickly resolved by the attentive staff who made up for the delay with their stellar service.
